Sometimes we travel simply to stop; to sit by a pool sipping on frozen margaritas under the weight of midsummer heat. Other times we travel to learn, to explore and to feel in awe of the world. This month we bring you two new properties that allow for both. In our journal we delve into concepts of 'brave travel' and tempt you to take a leaf from Hunter S. Thompson's book, who spent a year living and riding with the Hell's Angels. He wrote “life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming “Wow! What a Ride!”
