Dating back as far as 1270, this unique shoot location in East Sussex oozes with history and character. Grand staircases, floor-to-ceiling bookshelves and stone doorways are just the beginnings of this renovated castle in Hartfield, where film and photoshoot directors are welcome to take full advantage of its inimitable grandeur. Outside, 27 acres of grounds including gardens, a vegetable patch, two large lakes, colourful cut flower garden and woodlands, offering a unique opportunity to utilise all the assets that comprise Alcázar's luxury country estate.

Plaster ceilings, dark studies and bright dining rooms hiding behind leaded windows lend themselves to music videos and magazine features, while pristine white sofas contrast against black walls, begging for fashion models to idle on. Upstairs, five bedrooms with timber beams, traditional rocking horses and fireplaces are available for shoot opportunities, while a grand dining room and several sumptuous living areas, all with their own unique character, offer creatives the space to bring one of a kind projects to life.

- AccommodationThe house features four double bedrooms with en suites, one twin bedroom and with one ground floor WC. There is plenty of room for portable toilets at the property for larger-scale photoshoots if required. For on-site accommodation, Fawn Wood can be hired at an additional cost; recommendations for external accommodation can be provided upon enquiry.

Hartfield
Hugging the northern edge of the Ashdown Forest, a royal hunting forest in Norman times, the East Sussex village of Hartfield takes its name from the deer that once abounded the area. Today it´s better known as the home of Britain´s favourite bear, Winnie-the-Pooh.
