The public can watch games, and tickets are on sale at the entrance of the ground. Goodwood Estate is also close by, providing plenty of entertainment for all ages with a range of events to enjoy. Midhurst makes a great base for a self-catering holiday home, this historic market town has a pretty main street, plenty of pubs and quirky buildings scattered around the old church.
The remains of De Bohun castle can be found a short stroll up from the main town centre on St Anne's Hill, where explorers will be able to spot a tower, hall house, chapel and the remains of several other buildings. In these parts, a proper country walk is never far away, with rolling fields and secluded woodland in abundance right on the doorstep. Horticulturalists will love the route that meanders along from the heart of town, through Woolbeding Park and past Woolbeding Gardens, full of colourful delights but only open on certain days, so be sure to get your timings spot-on.
