After a busy, hot and fruitful summer, we thought it only right to gather together with Unique Homestays’ friends and owners for an evening of delicious morsels and sweet tipples to celebrate the end of the season at our gorgeous, rock ‘n’ roll Somerset home, Pearl’s Place.
Hosts Pearl Lowe and Danny Goffey opened their doors and welcomed Relish Event Catering into their gorgeous, bespoke kitchen, where the team served guests an exquisite menu of canapés which freely flowed throughout the evening. Avery’s Wine Merchants and Tarquins Gin kept glasses full and spirits high with a selection of hand-picked wines and small-batch gin, while Lovely Drinks provided soft drinks and mixers. Chocolarder’s devilishly divine salted caramel truffles sent guests into cocoa heaven, while Manus Noble strummed his guitar as the perfect accompaniment to good conversation.
Bloom and Wild, The Prop Factory and The White Company dressed the house and entrance with giant topiary, delicate arrangements and sweet-smelling candles and magician Alex Robertson baffled the crowds with some extraordinary trickery. Meanwhile, luxury bath and shower company, Noble Isle ensured nobody went home without soft hands, and of course, it wouldn’t be an English party without a spot of tea, lovingly grown, brewed and poured by the Tregothnan estate in Cornwall.
Finally, as well to our event planner Tanya Sheasby and all those mentioned above, we must give a huge thank you to photographer Simon Biffen, who captured the night and our guests perfectly, encapsulating the essence of this unique soiree in the most glamorous of homes.
