Unique Homestays Wins First Prize at The Royal Cornwall Show
Luxury holiday accommodation specialist Unique Homestays is awarded first prize for ‘Best Non-Agricultural Trade Stand’ at the Royal Cornwall Show 2012.
The luxury accommodation provider, based just outside of Newquay, was awarded the accolade for their quirky and creative trade stand at this year’s Royal Cornwall Show; the county’s premier annual event which welcomed thousands of visitors from all over the country, including HRH The Duchess of Cornwall.
The winning trade stand took inspiration from one of Unique Homestays’ stunning beach-front properties, capturing the essence of a traditional British seaside holiday with nautical-themed deckchairs, a cream tea picnic, and even a replica Punch and Judy stage to mark the 350th anniversary of the first recorded public appearance of this unique British tradition. The stand’s backdrop was created in a clapperboard beach hut-style, with several of the company’s stunning properties showcased through the ‘windows’ of the stand to create a visually stimulating and unique framework which delighted the many visitors over the weekend of the 7th, 8th and 9th of June.
Managing Director of Unique Homestays, Sarah Stanley, said, ‘We are delighted to have been awarded first prize for our trade stand at the show. We strive for excellence in all that we do, and so to have our creative marketing strategies recognised with this award is an honour.’
The Royal Cornwall Show proved a hugely successful arena for Unique Homestays to showcase their glittering portfolio of luxury accommodation, and also garnered lots of interest from potential new owners with luxury private homes looking for a unique marketing agent to promote their properties. Marketing Manager Claire Ray said, ‘Plans are already afoot for our stand at next year’s show, you can look forward to another imaginative offering which will hopefully delight visitors and show organisers as much as this year’s did!’
