Honey-touched stone and rolling meadows form the backdrop to intimate wedding celebrations at Anthology Farm. This exclusive wedding venue, tucked into the patchwork of the Cotswolds’ countryside, welcomes celebrations for up to 50 guests in a sympathetically-renovated wedding barn.
For our latest editorial shoot, wedding and elopement photographer Jo Bradbury captured the minimalist haven, all of its simple stylistic touches, and those uninterrupted views of the 500-acre farm.
Flanking the heated pool house, the wedding barn was set up for a small ceremony, with linen cross-back chairs set beneath the giant basket pendants sourced from Tunisia. A foliage arch crafted by Wizz and Wild served as a centrepiece for the vows against the backdrop of limewashed walls and oak barn doors. Tall taper candles, cut glass vases filled with silver coins of honesty, modern stationery by Lucy McSpirit, crumpled silks and linens made up the tablescape (created by Maria of Detail Styling); an ode to the pared-back, contemporary design of the new space.
The two 18th-century barns sleep up to 18 guests, allowing ample space for close family and friends to extend the celebrations beyond the "I do’s". With earthy materials running throughout the interiors, little touches of scandi detail give a contemporary nod to its farmhouse chic.
