We believe in thinking differently, running a pioneering spirit through everything we do to bring you escapes that cannot be found elsewhere. With a fresh, understated design, our new look allows our homes to do the talking. In our eighteenth year there could not be a more fitting time to evolve and refine the brand. Less fuss, more of what you love. Because real luxury doesn´t need to be boastful.

Rewild The Nation
Temperatures are rising, ice caps are melting and urgent action must be taken in order to slow the warming of our wonderful world. Our environment is a key priority and, in a new partnership with Rewilding Britain, we will be contributing to their effort of sequestering 47 million tonnes of CO2 per year back into the ground. From September, for every booking taken, we will donate to the charity to support the restoration of Great Britain´s eco systems, helping secure a future for generations to come.

A Bold Move
In our journal we delve into concepts of ´brave travel´ and tempt you to take a leaf from Hunter S. Thompson´s book, who spent a year living and riding with the Hell´s Angels. He wrote “life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming “Wow! What a Ride!”

Bursting with colour, originality and pure imagination, and each so different from the other, these eclectic homes are the true spice of life. One serenely sits just above the sea on Cornwall’s gentle south coast, while the other is a riot of rock ‘n’ roll style (having hosted the likes of Genesis, The Police and Queen in the nineties), set deep in rural Surrey.

There are few truly wild places left between our patchwork of farmer´s fields and glow of city lights, but those that remain are wonders indeed, to be cherished like buried treasure found at the end of an arduous voyage. Today we bring you such a place, a magical cabin in the woods on the edge of Cornwall’s Bodmin Moor, where otters tangle in the burbling river and owls gently hoot in the branches overhead. At Damselfly there are only three things on the agenda; peace, tranquillity and a large glass of chilled pink lemonade.
